Here are answers to some common questions and our policy. 

Booking Terms and Conditions: 


Please ensure that you read carefully and understand these Terms and Conditions prior to booking. These Terms and Conditions are subject to change, and you are advised to check our website or to request the latest version of the Terms and Conditions from Oremi travels prior to booking your vacation. Any oversite on your path will not be the responsibility of Oremi travels. 

Cancellations


  • Oremi travels will confirm bookings, changes and cancellations in writing. You are able to cancel your travel arrangement at any time before your trip date but do note that you may lose part or all money paid. Cancellation fees will be charged based on the following schedule, unless otherwise stated on confirmation and deadline sheet.

Individual cancellations / entire group cancellations: 


  • All deposits and payments are non-refundable however your payments are protected when cancelling - you can always hold your payments as a credit or transfer to a future trip of your choice when making a cancellation. 
  • Deposits are only transferrable as travel credits for future trips if changes / cancellation is made within 14 days of booking and if the trip is more than 90 days away.
  • If you cancel 120 days before the trip, you will get your payments back but your initial deposit is forfeited, plus other land or service payments as outlined in group confirmation/deadline sheet. 
  • Cancellations within 30-60 days of your departure date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee of the total amount paid after the deposit. The remaining 50% balance will be applied as a credit towards a future trip.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the scheduled departure date or less are subject to a 100% charge of the total amount paid after the deposit.

Rates


  • Quotes are valid for 7 days and may have to be re-priced after that time. 
  • Currency Fluctuations: For Europe (on the GBP or EUR), we adjust exchange rates the first of every month. The currency rate will be locked in at time of deposit, but prior to the initial deposit this rate is subject to change. For non-Europe, if currency fluctuates more than 3%, Oremi travels reserves the right at any time (including after the initial deposit) to amend the quotation or charge a surcharge to the booking as needed. 
  • If there are major itinerary changes (incited by the client) after the initial deposit, the currency rate may be subject to change. 
  • Child Reduction Rates: Infants are considered to be 0-23 months; children are considered to be 2-11 yrs at time of travel. There are some child discounts available, but this varies by hotel and activities. 

Travel packages


  • Please note that all trip packages advertised on Oremi Travels website does not include flight. Instead, packages includes accommodation, transport, activities and some meals which will be clearly indicated at the time of booking. 
  • The trip packages are priced based on 2 adults sharing a room – which means you will be paired with another traveller. All participants are well vetted and there is ampful of opportunity to get to know your roommate before the trip commences. If you do however prefer a private room, this can be arranged at an extra cost. 
  • All trips are priced in GBP. 

Deposits


  • All deposit are non-refundable but transferable to another trip of your choice.
  • For our customized trip request, we will transfer your deposit to a future trip if cancelled before 48 hours post itinerary creation. 
  • A deposit is required to request and initiate bookings. 
  • Additional deposits and pre-payments may be required prior to your group's final payment (e.g. theater tickets or hotel pre-payments during peak times). You will be notified in writing of any required payments and terms in writing as soon as Oremi travels is aware of this requirement. 
  • Deposits paid will be deducted from your final invoice. 

Conditions of payment


  • Payments to Oremi travels shall be made in GBP & shall be received by Oremi travels no less than 60 days prior departure. 
  • If a passenger wishes to make payment directly to Oremi travels, they may do so by payment link sent. 
  • Our values at Oremi travels are to make travel easy and do-able hence the availability of a payment plan. We are happy to fully customise your payment date and amount. If you are unable to make monthly payment has planned, please inform Oremi travels has soon as possible – failure to do so may incur a minimum £100 fee and may result in the non-refundable cancellation of some or all services booked. 
  • The sender is responsible for all bank fees incurred in connection with the transfer of funds or payment of checks. 
  • For bookings made within 70 days prior to departure, final payment is required to book space in form of a Credit Card, or Wire transfer. 
  • A purchase is not complete until the payment of any deposit and any other monies due and payable have been processed by Oremi travels and a confirmation of booking has been sent. Receipt of confirmation from Oremi travels constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions. 

Accommodations


  • Hotels mentioned in proposal are samples only. 
  • Hotel accommodation is subject to availability at the time of reservation. 
  • If Oremi travels is unable to confirm the sample hotel(s) listed in our quotation, we will attempt to secure space at a similar hotel of equal standard and cost. In the event a similar hotel is not available, a supplement may apply. 
  • Some hotels require non-refundable and non-transferable deposits in order to guarantee a booking. In such cases, Oremi travels will inform you require non-refundable prepayment for that portion of the package. 
  • At certain times during the year many places have conventions, fairs, events, or holidays. During such periods, if Oremi travels is unable to secure space within the quoted price, a supplement may apply. 
  • Single, triple, and quad rooms are not guaranteed in all properties and should be requested at time of booking. Room configurations vary and King and Queen sized beds are not typically available in standard rooms outside of the USA. 
  • Special requests such as elevators, air conditioning, etc are not guaranteed in all properties. In addition, even if a property has amenities such as air conditioning or elevator, it is not guaranteed that it will be operational during your stay. 
  • Baggage handling can be coordinated at most (but not all) hotels and will incur an additional fee, unless listed in your final quote inclusions. Due to narrow streets, buses are not always able to park in front of the hotel. In this case, passengers may have to walk a short distance with their bag to the hotel. 

Group procedures


  • Travel insurance is compulsory to travel with Oremi travels, we are happy to provide recommendations. 
  • All necessary entrance documents (such as passports, visas, etc.) for each country in the group itinerary are the responsibility of individual passengers. 
  • Passports should be valid for 6 months beyond your return date. 
  • Exit taxes or fees must be paid by each passenger locally and are not part of the package (unless otherwise advised). 
  • All changes, requests or booking requirements should be sent in writing. 
  • Please notify Oremi travels in advance if you require special accommodation (such as dietary needs or disabilities). 
  • Final passenger and rooming list is due 90 days prior to departure. 
  • Names exactly as they appear on the passengers' passport must be provided to Oremi travels; otherwise, penalties, re-issuing fees or cancellation of airline reservations with full loss of monies paid may apply. 
  • A group consists of a minimum of 8 full-paying passengers. If a group falls below 8 paying passengers or a cancellation causes the group to fall below a particular pricing category, pricing and space will be subject to change or cancellation. 
  • Final payment is due 30 days prior to departure. 

Group transport services


  • The size of your coach (for tours, transfers and touring) will be determined by the number of passengers in your group. The maximum capacity of a coach is typically 12 passengers. 
  • Coaches can accommodate one medium bag per person. If additional luggage space is needed, please advise us at time of booking. Supplemental charges may apply. 
  • Should passengers on the group bring larger or excess luggage, without advance notice to go-today, which cannot be accommodated on the coach, they will be responsible for arranging and paying for their excess luggage to be transferred to the destination. 
  • Coaches are not guaranteed to have air conditioning or toilets on-board. If these features are required, please notify us at time of booking. Supplemental charges may apply. 

Group changes/deviations


  • The price quoted is based upon the exact inclusions as specified in your final proposal. Discrepancies between what your group requires and what is specified in our offer should be addressed before confirmation. 
  • Any major changes or amendments made after initial confirmation are subject to a £100 per person change fee. 
  • If there are major changes to the group itinerary and inclusions, the quote may have to be re-priced. 
  • Any deviations, extensions or requests different from the group booking are subject to a £100 deviation fee per person, plus any difference in airfare and possible fees from service providers. 
  • Name change fee applies for certain activities: £100 minimum, 
  • No changes are permitted 30 days prior to travel. 

Change in itinerary


  • The Traveler understands and acknowledges that the nature of travel requires considerable flexibility and you should allow for alternatives. 
  • Oremi travels reserves the right to cancel or alter sections or the entirety of the Trip’s itinerary, route, schedule, amenities, mode of transport, and accommodations without prior notice as may be necessary for any reason whatsoever including, but not limited to, local circumstances or events, road, weather, or traffic conditions, non-performance of suppliers, industrial action, operational conditions and requirements, water level problems, excessive winds/other hazards outside our control. 
  • Oremi travels will always strive to offer reasonable alternatives to these changes, to the best of its ability within the confines of the afforded time and budget and inform the Traveler within a reasonable timeframe. 
  • We will not issue any refunds in connection with any such cancellations or alterations. 
  • In emergency circumstances, the additional cost of any necessary itinerary alterations will be covered by you. Oremi travels is not responsible for any incidental expenses that may be incurred as a result of the change of itineraries including but not limited to visas, vaccinations, repatriation, quarantines or non-refundable flights. 
  • Every effort is made to ensure accuracy at the time of going to “press” (ie website going live, advertising of the Trip on different media, etc); however, Oremi travels cannot be held responsible for printing or typographical errors, or issues arising from unforeseen circumstances, and we reserve the right to correct and/or clarify any errors due to typography, editing, photography, or pricing. 
  • In the case of a computer or human billing error, we reserve the right to re-invoice participants with correct billing. 

Covid-19 policy


  • Anyone who chooses to travel with us has a duty of care to themselves and the people around them. We insist that all our travelers comply with local regulations and laws, as well as our own health and safety guidelines, to ensure that everyone can enjoy this group adventure, while minimising the risk of spread of COVID19. 
  • In addition, each destination has their own vaccination, testing and health screening requirements for entry, exit and transit. It is the Traveler’s responsibility to check the local government websites of their destination(s) to ensure you meet the proper requirements for entry. These can include requiring evidence of recent COVID19 test results or vaccination. 
  • It is also the Traveler’s responsibility to check the requirements for testing and health screening for the transportation to and from the meeting and departure point as well as countries through which the traveler is transiting and to re-enter the traveler’s country of residence. 
  • Finally it is the Traveler’s responsibility to adhere to the requirements for re-entry in their own country. 

Refunds & adjustments


  • Claims for refunds and/or adjustments must be made within 45 days of the disputed service ending. 
  • Full details and documentation must accompany claims.
